                          我国科学家发现硒化铜纳米催化剂在二氧化碳电还原中的出色表现#标题分割#  大量化石燃料的使用导致全球大气二氧化碳的浓度不断升高,通过电还原将二氧化碳转化为燃料是实现碳循环最有前景的途径之一,有可能减少我们对化石燃料的依赖并减轻大气污染。一些电催化剂,如贵金属和铜基催化剂,已经被证明能够通过电还原二氧化碳生成甲醇,然而,同时在高电流密度和高法拉第效率(实际生成物与理论生成物的百分比)的条件下将二氧化碳转化为甲醇仍然是一个挑战。  针对这一挑战,在“大科学装置前沿研究”重点专项等的支持下,中国科学院化学所朱庆宫、韩布兴研究组发现了硒化铜纳米催化剂在二氧化碳电化学还原法生产甲醇过程中的出色表现,在285mV的低过电压下,电流密度可高达41.5mA·cm-2并且法拉第效率为77.6%。该电流密度比目前报道的电流密度高,并且甲醇生产的法拉第效率非常高。催化剂在反应中也非常稳定,其中铜和硒在催化反应中具有良好的协同作用。这项工作据报告是首次以硒化铜为催化剂进行电化学还原二氧化碳。该研究工作也指出,其他一些过渡金属硒化物也可以设计成为有效的电催化剂,用于二氧化碳的还原。相关研究成果近期发表在《自然·通讯》(NatureCommunications)上。  该研究工作为合理设计能够产生高电流密度、高选择性、高活性和高鲁棒性的电催化剂奠定了基础,对于二氧化碳电还原的大规模应用具有重要意义。
